Davvi Hotel & Cabins Finland

Warmth is exactly what you will be met with at the Davvi Arctic Lodge, a simple hotel steeped in local charm and character. An open fire blazes in the hotel’s cosy lounge, while the warmth of the welcome provided by the staff will soon have your cheeks glowing with pleasure.

The Davvi Arctic Lodge is a fantastic, family-friendly hotel which has been traditionally built in keeping with the naturally wooded area that it sits within.

As the countdown to Christmas begins, there could be nothing more magical than visiting a true winter wonderland. Santa’s Lapland offers a landscape of pine trees speckled with glistening snow, crisp white expanses of Arctic wilderness and of course, it is the time-honoured home of Father Christmas himself.

Hotel Features

On arrival the first thing that you will notice is the quietness of the location, this is due to the setting – it is set well back from the main road, upon a slight hillside. The main building is constructed from round logwood, the Cabins, Aurora house and Fell Houses are built from flat wood timber.

On entering the hotel you are welcomed in a nice bright space with a small reception desk, spiral staircase to the lower level, door to the left which is the entrance to the round lounge and the doorway to the right which takes you into the bar, sitting area and restaurant.

The round sitting room has comfy sofas, log fire and a large flat screened tv.

In the lounge, bar and restaurant area there are huge panoramic windows which look out, beyond the trees, to Sweden. It is warm, comfortable and homely.

The hotel is known for its immediate access to a dark sky area which is perfect for Northern Lights Viewing.
